    About Department

    The Institute launched the Diploma in medical Laboratory in 2014/2015 academic year under NACTE, with full registration number REG/HAS/134.

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

    Our department of Medical Laboratory Science is structured to:


    1.Help trainee to acquire the competences desired with the aim of enabling them to work effectively.

    2. Facilitate training in consideration of individual learning differences by using alternative paths and flexible scheduling of learning activities, and also help learners to be more responsible for their own learning.

    3.Implement the training program using a wide range of provisions, which satisfy the educational criteria for competent professional training.
    4.Make training needs clear and specific, resulting in more efficient utilization of training resources.

    5.Facilitate more efficient educational exchange between trainer and trainee.

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Ordinary diploma in Medical Laboratory Science

    Holders of certificate of secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four (4) passes in non-religious subjects including Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

  • Upgrading diploma

    Holders of Certificate in Medical laboratory science Below year 2010, four pass including one pass in science subject
